I have been planning to start a dog rescue for some time now and finally I have made the commitment to begin. The next major step in the process is to get liability insurance. This has proven to be a bit more challenging than I imagined. Fortunately a rescue group on FaceBook recommended an insurance company. It was nice to talk with a person at company A but I would like to get some comparative quotes. Unfortunately when I contacted company B a person outside the department I need to talk with told me that they are very busy and really don’t want to talk with me. I tried to contact company B most of last week and I am still trying to contact them. I will probably call everyday for the next week and see if anyone will give me a call back. An interesting impression I am getting is that insurance for a dog rescue is much more expensive than insurance for dog training. I will keep all informed about my progress as information becomes available.
